Christian Aid has a staff of about 35 people at the headquarters in Charlottesville, VA. All of our staff members are born again believers and see their work as ministry unto the Lord. We have a variety of departments and positions at our office.
Some of the ongoing positions we are actively seeking are listed here, but if there is an area of giftedness which you feel could be beneficial to a ministry such as Christian Aid you are welcome to contact us. Part-time Regional Church Relations Coordinators
Needed in all regions of the United States. Region could be defined as any U.S. metropolitan area, state, or group of surrounding states. Current top priority regions: Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, Midwest
Location: Work from home, no re-location necessary
Date needed: Flexible
Part-time, approximately 15-20 hours per week
Goals:
- Introduce and promote the ministry of Christian Aid and indigenous missions to evangelical churches in one’s region
- Develop network of relationships among pastors and church leaders in region, involving setting up one-one-one meetings with pastors, missions committee members, etc.
- Start off setting up at least four speaking opportunities per month for a Christian Aid staff
- Eventually could grow into arranging speaking opportunities for ministry leaders visiting from overseas and oneself; setting up Christian Aid regional missions conferences; and other creative ways of introducing individuals and pastors to the ministry
Requirements:
- Willingness to travel within region, including some weekends
- Accompany speakers
- Preferably comfortable speaking/preaching in churches and other large groups
- Knowledge of denominations helpful
- Must be highly self-motivated personality, self-starter with initiative, entrepreneurial spirit
- Looking for ministry minded individuals who are personally enthusiastic about Christian Aid’s vision to help indigenous missions
- Committed volunteers welcome to serve in this way!
