Middle East

War, terror and senseless crime are the constant oppressors of those living in Arab nations. But Islam undoubtedly presents the biggest challenge for Middle Eastern Christians.

Yet despite living under the merciless restrictions of Islamic Shariah law, which does not permit conversion to another religion, large numbers of Muslims are turning to Christ.

Evangelicals in the Middle East are mainly clustered in Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon, and remain a small minority. Out of the 450 million inhabitants of the Middle East and North Africa region, only 1 million are evangelicals.

Through the support of Christian Aid, several indigenous ministries in the Middle East have been supplied with the resources needed to share the gospel with the Muslim population.

and are getting the job done for less cost.
