Liberian Ministry Seeing Fruit from it's Labors: January 2007
Christ Evangelical Fellowship Ministries leader James Cuffee sent to Christian Aid this praise report from Liberia:
"We are pleased to submit to you the report of our ministry’s achievements since we started working in partnership with Christian Aid-USA. The financial support received has helped our ministry greatly to have achieved the following:
- Our ministry has grown from 12 churches to 28 churches and four new preaching points/Bible study groups have been established.
- More than 1950 church leaders, pastors/missionaries, and church workers benefited from the two recent leadership training conferences.
- Support is provided for several of our ministry’s workers.
- Our CEFM central church, badly damaged due to the recent civil war, was renovated. Four damaged village church roofs were repaired.
- Forty-seven orphan children are receiving financial assistance.
- Eight bicycles and five microphones were bought for the use of our church planters/missionaries for their missionary work.
- We conducted five crusades in and around the country, winning over 2250 souls for Christ. Among this number, 372 Muslims were saved. To God be the glory!
- We completed the well project for the villagers. Thank God for the breakthrough.
Since the dedication of the well, the nearby villages are requesting our ministry to do a similar thing in their villages.
As the Lord provides the funding, more wells can be provided and doors will be opened to present the gospel.
