Evangelistic Crusades Reach Hundreds for Christ: February 2007
Christian Aid received this report from New Life in Jesus in Paraguay:
On behalf of our missionaries, I would like to express our gratitude for your prayers and financial support for our ministry.
Your support has been helping our missionaries at San Pedro State, which is a very poor area with very few paved roads. During the year, we organized several evangelistic crusades, as a result 800 people accepted Jesus as personal Savior and 100 were baptized. Also, in those locations we held Bible training for the gospel workers.
In Paraguarí State your support has been a blessing. We were able to provide motorcycles for two pastors in this region, and our ministry is training 20 new gospel workers. Recently 12 new believers were baptized.
Your gifts are helping towns in other areas, Luque, Limpio, Emboscada and Villa Madrid. So far we have started six house churches, with an average attendance of 30 adults and 40 children. In those towns we baptized 44 new believers, and we are praying that the Lord will provide additional funds so we may start a soup kitchen for needy children.
Also, we are involved with discipleship and evangelistic crusades in Paloma town. Recently we started training in 13 new congregations, with a total of 74 trainees.
Finally, we thank God for your gifts, which have enabled us to help a ministry named Tekove, oriented toward children. Through this we can share the gospel among street childre, those in in public schools, and churches.
Please continue praying for our ministry in Paraguay, that many others may accept Jesus as personal Savior.
