May 22, 2008 - "Many who survived the cyclone are now on the verge of death because of a lack of food, water, or shelter from the wind, rain, and cooler weather," comes news from a ministry assisted through Christian Aid Mission. Read more.

May 15, 2008 - On Monday, May 12, a 7.9 magnitude earthquake occurred in Sichuan Province in China. The earthquake shocks reached Beijing (3.8 in magnitude) and Taiwan, 1,000 miles away. Over 18,000 people died; many thousands more are feared dead. A Christian orphanage and several Bible schools were affected. Read more.
May 13, 2008 - Today the situation in Burma is even more horrifying than it was on May 2, just after being ravaged by Cyclone Nargis. In addition to those already dead from the storm, more are dying because of injuries, illness, and a lack of clean water, food and sanitation. Read more.

May 7, 2008 - Wednesday, May 7, 2008 we received the following information from another of our contacts in Burma: "We have churches in the following divisions: Yangon Division, Ayeyawady Division, Bago Division, Mon State, and Kayin State. We have not yet heard from the other churches we had planted." Read more.
May 6, 2008 - In the midst of the chaos wrought by Cyclone Nargis this weekend, it is estimated that the death toll has doubled since yesterday. Rangoon, the commercial capital of the country, was devastated by the storm. Hundreds of thousands of people in Burma are now without shelter or clean water to drink. Read more.
Apr. 24, 2008 - In four districts of Kenya, several thousand of our church members have been scattered throughout the country. This is all the members of 60 of our churches. We still do not know what has become of some of them. Many are living in camps. Three of our church buildings were looted and demolished. Read more.
